👣 Step by Step

1. 1Collect three water samples in separate cups — one from a canal, one from the lagoon, and one from your tap.
2. 2Let each sample sit undisturbed for 5 minutes so any sediment can settle.
3. 3Hold each cup over white paper and look through it. Note the color — clear, yellow, green, or brown.
4. 4Sniff each sample (gently!) and write down any smell.
5. 5Pour a little of each sample through a coffee filter and compare what's left behind.
6. 6Record what you saw, smelled, and filtered for each sample.
